iPhone is an earPhone is it a SmartLens then?

So you see a guy pull out a pocket magnifying glass to read something on a packet that’s in tiny print.
You’ll have seen people doing this all your life.
Its normal.
Oh and magnifying lenses have been around since at least 423 BC! (Aristophanes lens)

You see a guy pull out an iPhone and hold it up against some printed text.
But now He’s hearing the print read out in a spoken voice.
A new type of pocket magnifier.
So is this a “smart-lens”?
People probably don’t care but it’s another step back to the aural culture from whence we came…
